Get Wired

A Fort Collins education technology initiative, Get Wired is a local branch of a much bigger idea.  Getting students trained for technology occupations through internships in local businesses.  It’s a pretty cool gig—Getting students real-world experience outside of their classrooms and often they can turn into full-time positions after graduation.

I wish something like this existed when I was in high school.

The Wired folks wanted a high-impact design, while staying within a two-color budget.  This piece was printed on glossy cardstock with a UV coating that made it seriously pop.  It’s not appropriate for every project, but glossy still has its place.
